Common Chemicals Found in Water

         There are many different types of chemicals found in our water system. Lakes, rivers, stream, oceans as well as our drinking water are contaminated by chemical  from industrial, chemical, agricultural, and unsafe garbage disposal waste. 

Fluoride-is a neurotoxin and an endocrine disruptor that has the ability to harm the thyroid gland and calcify the pineal gland.

 Lead- is very toxic to every organ in the body. Exposure to lead can cause Developmental issues, stunted growth, deafness, behavioral problems, learning disabilities, and brain damage. If ingested during pregnancy, lead can cause premature birth. Lead exposure has also been linked to autism, prostate cancer, and reproductive problems.

Arsenic- used in industrial processes that is extremely poisonous. It can cause vomiting, diarrhea and in extreme cases cancer.

Chlorine- use to purify drinking water and used as a disinfectant for mainly pools, sewage and industrial waste.

Mercury- is extremely toxic chemical that an cause brain damage, blindness, nerve damage
